Professional engagements have included cocktail lounges, weddings, big bands, church organist, country-club special events, private parties, musical production rehearsal and pit pianist, musical production arranging/scoring, and composing/arranging for the University of Missouri at Kansas City Jazz Workshop. Over the years, his experience has broadened to include arranging and contracting media commercials, working as sideman for circuses, horse shows, industrial shows, club dates, local television productions, and many casual engagements with big bands, such as the Les Elgart, Buddy Morrow, and Tommy Dorsey Orchestras.
Long-term engagements include several years in the house band at Taylor’s Supper Club in Denver, Sky Room at Hotel Utah in Salt Lake City, Kansas City Club (private), Hotel Schroeder in Milwaukee, and engagements as pianist with the Henry Mancini touring orchestra (with the Andy Williams/Henry Mancini Show).
Club dates and casual engagements have provided opportunities to serve as accompanist for vocalists such as Mel Torme, Four Aces, Frankie Laine, and Frankie Avalon.
